Minburn Wildcats
Minburn High School had their first graduation in 1894. Four people graduated in that class. They were Frankie Campbell, who later married John Blair, Walter Hardenbrook, Sheldon Moore and Edrid Osborn. It is not known how many grades were in high school at that time, but shortly thereafter, ten years of schooling were required in order to graduate.

A teacher’s salary in 1899 was said to be $45.00 per month.

The first record found of a principal was a P. L. Sager who was in charge beginning with the graduating class of 1907.

An eleventh grade began with the class of 1909. Several graduates would trek to Perry High School to attend classes for their twelfth grade. This was quite a daily trip at that time as the train was the main mode of transportation between the two communities.

The Class of 1923 was the first graduating group who completed twelve years to get their diploma. A superintendent Cornwall was present at that time.

The last class to graduate from Minburn High School was the year 1958.

484 graduates received diplomas from Minburn High School during the years it existed (1894-1958).
Central Dallas Cyclones
After the graduation in 1958, the Minburn Independent School District consolidated with the Washington Township Consolidated School District to form the Central Dallas Community School District. Washington Township Consolidated School had operated from 1923-1958. The newly consolidated school operated until 1990 at which time it was combined with the Adel School District and the DeSoto School District to form the Adel DeSoto Minburn School District, commonly known as ADM.

The Class of 1990 was the final group to graduate from Central Dallas High School. The superintendent was James Slade and the principal Lorene Dykstra. The school board members were Don Irwin, president, James Nelson, vice president, Ron Delay, Mark Emmert and Harold Hill. The board secretary was Sheryl York.

Diplomas were given to 734 graduates during the existence of Central Dallas High School (1959-1990).
